The JP151 MKII Bb Trumpet provides students with a step up instrument that will ensure they continue to develop and improve as a player and become more proficient. The JP151 has been widely praised as enabling students to progress faster due to its design. The instrument features a unique 2 stay design increasing its strength and durability and reducing the chance of structural damage. A rose brass leadpipe is also included as standard, giving students that helping hand to achieve a warm sound. The inclusion of monel valves on the JP151 also ensure a distinct improvement from JP’s entry level JP051. The instrument was very positively received by Jamie Prophet from the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra who said “The imagination and thought that has gone into the making of the trumpet makes it a successful, easy and solid instrument to play on, especially for the progressing student”.
